About the role

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As an Instructional Designer, you’ll design and deliver high‑quality, engaging learning solutions that build capability, confidence and compliance across the Product & Services workforce. Working closely with leaders, SMEs and enablement partners, you’ll translate complex product, legislative and operational information into practical, user‑centred learning that supports onboarding, role readiness, technical uplift and business change.

Day to day, you'll take ownership of learning from analysis through to evaluation, including:

• Conducting learning needs analysis to identify capability gaps, risks and performance issues
• Designing end‑to‑end learning solutions grounded in adult learning and instructional design principles
• Developing blended learning, including eLearning, micro‑learning, scenarios, simulations and job aids
• Partnering with SMEs to translate complex or regulatory content into clear, engaging learning
• Ensuring learning content is accurate, current, compliant and approved through governance channels

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:  

• A qualification in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development or a related field
• Experience designing and developing learning solutions in complex or regulated environments
• Strong application of adult learning and instructional design principles
• Experience developing blended learning using tools such as Articulate, multimedia tools and the MS suite
• The ability to translate technical or regulatory content into practical, engaging learning
