About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a ServiceNow Developer to join us here at Australian Retirement Trust (ART) on a 12-month fixed-term basis (parental leave cover). In this dynamic role, you'll be at the forefront of technical development, solution design, and support for our ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) platform. You’ll drive the development and delivery of technical platform solutions, ensuring they align with ITSM, IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Business Management (ITBM), and Service Operations processes. You'll also play a key role in recommending architecture and project changes to support ART's growth and strategic direction.

As a ServiceNow Developer at ART, you'll be responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining ServiceNow and other ITSM platforms. You'll custom design applications, workflows, and integrations, and support the MID server architecture. Your role will also involve coordinating ITSM application upgrades, providing business analysis, and engaging with platform vendors to resolve technical issues. We're looking for someone who embodies our values of courage, empathy, and excellence, and who can ensure our processes and procedures are accurately documented. About you
It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you’ll tick some of the following boxes too:

• Experience of administration and support within ServiceNow’s ITSM and ITOM modules.
• Demonstrated experience in the support and development of Service Catalogue & Service Portal, Workflows and Flow Designer, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Scripts within the ServiceNow platform.
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge in web design and JavaScript, CSS, HTML, PHP, AngularJS, Jelly development and ServiceNow technologies such as JavaScript/Glide, Angular, HTML, PowerShell etc.
• Strong process design and problem-solving abilities within the ServiceNow platform.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Self-starter with strong team orientation, ability to solve problems autonomously.
• Strong consulting capabilities and customer focused approach.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
