About the role We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Corporate Affairs Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering Australian Retirement Trust’s (ART) external communications strategy. You will support the development of ART’s corporate identity and reputation across media, corporate channels, and stakeholder communications. You will work collaboratively to deliver high-impact content, manage media relationships, support executive visibility, and contribute to ART’s positioning as a leading voice in the superannuation sector. Day to day, you'll: Develop and deliver communication strategies aligned with ART’s purpose and values. Create compelling content: speeches, presentations, articles and high-level correspondence. Prepare executive communications for events, conferences, and panels. Manage daily media activities: enquiries, spokesperson prep, and media engagements. Build strong relationships with journalists and media outlets. Identify and mitigate potential media or brand issues. Simplify complex financial topics for diverse audiences. Support responses to escalated member enquiries. This role may require you to produce investment-related content: updates, regulatory summaries, sustainability reports.
This role is available as a permanent/ full-time opportunity. About you It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: - Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Investments, or equivalent.
- Experience in corporate communications, media relations, or public affairs.
- Strong journalistic, storytelling, and copywriting skills.
- Proven experience in long-form writing and executive communications.
- Experience working with senior leaders and managing reputational issues.
