As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you’ll be part of a high-performing cloud and infrastructure team that supports mission-critical applications across hybrid and cloud environments. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with deep technical expertise and a passion for automation, scalability, and reliability. You’ll work across a broad technology stack and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, efficient, and resilient infrastructure solutions.

Day to day, you'll:

• Design, deploy, and maintain Linux systems (primarily Red Hat Enterprise Linux).
• Manage containerised workloads using Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
• Automate system configuration and orchestration using Ansible Automation Platform.
• Support virtualised servers using VMware.
• Support and manage cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure needs.
• Optionally support legacy systems running HP-UX or Unix.
• Optionally manage enterprise storage platforms such as HPE Alletra arrays and Brocade SAN switches.

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

• Significant experience in Linux system administration (Red Hat preferred).
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Proficiency in Terraform and infrastructure as code principles.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform.
• Working understanding of VMware virtualisation technologies.
• Experience managing cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).
• Familiarity with system monitoring and performance tuning.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Desirable: Experience with HP-UX systems.
• Desirable: Knowledge of enterprise storage solutions (e.g., HPE).
• Desirable: Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent certification.
