About the role We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Derivative Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations and strategic objectives of ART’s Trade & Derivatives Operations team. You will work closely with the Senior Derivative Operations & Reporting Analyst to ensure timely and accurate delivery of BAU outcomes across margining, collateral management, securities lending oversight, and regulatory reporting. You will also foster trusted relationships with system vendors and counterparties and work collaboratively across various teams. Day to day, you'll: - Perform daily margin reconciliations across Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETD) and both Cleared and Uncleared Over-the-Counter (OTC) Derivatives.
- Administer daily collateral processes across ART’s investment book, ensuring accurate and timely instruction and settlement of cash, securities, and other collateral obligations.
- Support the delivery of daily and periodic reporting obligations including ASIC Derivatives Transaction Reporting (RG 251) and APRA Reporting Standards (e.g., 721), under the guidance of senior team members.
- Investigate and resolve operational exceptions, applying root cause analysis and escalating where appropriate.

It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: - Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, mathematics, or commerce.
- Experience in Treasury Operations or Market Operations within a financial institution.
- Exposure to trade lifecycle management and reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with FX, Credit, IRS, commodities, or equities.
- Knowledge of CPS226 Margining and Risk Mitigation for non-centrally cleared derivatives.
- Understanding of OTC and ETD clearing and margining.
- Ability to identify, assess, and escalate risks in line with ART’s Risk Management Framework.
- Willingness to learn and rapidly acquire knowledge of superannuation investments, regulations, and operational processes.
