Development and People Experience Specialist
Internal only

Take hold of a monster opportunity in our Culture and People Experience (CaPE) team as a Development and People Experience Specialist. If you’re a good fit for this role and live in Brisbane, we’d love you to apply.

About the role
We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. Are you passionate about helping people grow and thrive at work? We’re on the lookout for a Development and People Experience Specialist to join our team and help shape the future of career development at ART. In this role, you’ll design and deliver learning experiences that are human-centred, engaging, and aligned to our enterprise capabilities. You’ll work closely with leaders and P&C colleagues to create personalised development plans, run experiential workshops, and bring our skills framework to life. If you love creating meaningful employee experiences—from onboarding to offboarding—and have a knack for coaching and change management, this could be your next move.

Transferable skills like stakeholder engagement, facilitation, project coordination, and a strong understanding of what makes a great employee journey will set you up for success. If you’re curious, empathetic, and driven to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you!

This role is available as a 6-month secondment opportunity.

About you
It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you’ll tick some of the following boxes too:

  • You are comfortable presenting in-person and online to large and small groups and are a confident public speaker.
  • You’re confident facilitating sessions that are engaging and human-centred, and you know how to adapt your style to suit different audiences.
  • You’ve worked closely with senior leaders and know how to influence and collaborate to get great outcomes.
  • You’re comfortable managing projects end-to-end and can juggle multiple priorities without losing sight of the details.
  • You enjoy working across teams and thrive in environments where you can co-create solutions with others.
  • You’ve used learning systems or similar platforms to support development initiatives and/or are quick to pick up new tools.
  • You’re a strong communicator who builds trust easily and knows how to bring people on the journey.
  • You may have experience across different areas of People & Culture—like talent, capability, or culture—or you’re keen to grow into those spaces!
