Community Support Manager - Beam
Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne

About the role

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a key member of the Beam Growth and Partnerships team, you will take the lead in engaging with the payroll community through forums, events, and online Q&As. This role is essential in promoting Beam and its features, benefits, and best practices, ensuring that employers using Beam have a central support knowledge base and a go-to person for their queries.

 

You’ll be responsible for triaging customer questions, connecting feedback to answers, and leveraging forums to increase awareness of Beam. This is a hands-on role focused on elevating Beam’s presence and fostering a strong community around payroll topics.

 

Day to day, you'll: 

  • Respond to community questions across forums and events.
  • Triage support queries and connect users with the right answers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and the Relationship Manager to support partnership growth and drive engagement.
  • Develop and manage engaging content for Beam, including FAQs, guides, and community updates.
  • Track engagement and identify ways to grow the community.
  • Represent Beam’s voice and values in every interaction.

 

This role is a permanent opportunity and can be based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne

 

About you

  • You collaborate like a pro, working seamlessly with sales, product, and leadership teams to get things done.
  • You’re tech-savvy and comfortable navigating community platforms, payroll systems, CRMs, and analytics tools.
  • You’ve got a solid foundation—likely a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or something similar.
  • You bring at least 2 years of experience in community management, customer support, or a related field.
  • You’ve got a proven knack for growing and energising online communities.
