About the role We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Senior Regulatory Reporting Specialist - Investment Data, you’ll provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support on various investment related regulatory reporting solutions for Australian Retirement Trust (ART). You will also be collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to implement models, extract and validate data, and ensure adherence to changing obligations. Day to day, you'll: - Produce and review various investment related regulatory reporting including APRA, PHD, RG97 and ESG with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide SME support to internal and external projects including those related to regulatory changes.
- Drive innovation and continuous enhancement of ART's regulatory reporting requirements and processes within Investment Operations and Performance.
- Actively engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet both current and future expectations.
- Proactively play a senior role to build strong teamwork within the team and provide back-up to the team and cross train junior team members when required.
- Ensure strong governance practices are in place and maintained.
This role is available as a 12-month max-term/ secondment opportunity. About you It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: - Relevant university degree (e.g., Accounting, Finance or equivalent).
- Previous experience ideally in Custodian/Investment operations/Investment Projects.
- Regulatory reporting and/or disclosure along with other regulatory reporting experience (e.g., APRA, and RG97).
- Excellent analytical and interpretive skills, ability to work independently, and ability to present and communicate results.
- Demonstrated high familiarity with market environments and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated deep understanding of controls and risk management associated with regulatory reporting.
- Experience in data analysis and skilled with VBA/SQL/ Power Automate.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
