You’ll work closely with executives, senior leaders, and subject matter experts to drive consistency, uplift governance practices, and support high‑quality risk decision‑making. You’ll also provide expert advice on regulatory expectations and lead continuous improvement to ensure our governance processes remain robust, contemporary, and fit for purpose.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Supporting the design and continuous enhancement of the enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Leading the development, review, and uplift of risk policies and governance documents.
  • Coordinating policy consultation processes, including approval workflows, and governance documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with APRA prudential standards (e.g., SPS 220, CPS 220, SPS 515).
  • Managing governance evidence files and documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess implications for existing governance structures and processes.
  • Supporting onboarding for new Board members and executives with governance materials.
  • Providing expert advisory support to business leaders on governance best practices.
  • Building productive relationships to enhance governance capability across the organisation.

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

  • Strong knowledge of APRA prudential standards and regulatory governance requirements within superannuation.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and enhancing governance and risk frameworks.
  • A track record of producing high‑quality policies, governance documentation, and managing workflow processes with precision.
  • Confident coordination of governance processes for Boards, committees, and senior leaders.
  • Skilled in engaging and influencing stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory expectations into clear, practical governance solutions.
  • Familiarity with governance systems, version control practices, and workflow management tools.
