About the role
We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. We’re on the lookout for an Iteration Lead to join our dynamic team at Australian Retirement Trust (ART) on a 12-month fixed-term basis. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of squad deliverables within an Agile development team. You’ll work closely with multiple business analysts across various business units and projects, facilitating daily development team activities under the direction of a Delivery Manager. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain transparency will be key in keeping our teams on track and ensuring smooth sprint activities.

As an Iteration Lead, you’ll play a crucial role in the delivery lifecycle by providing reports, leading sprint activities, and addressing roadblocks. You’ll also mentor and lead team members on Agile Practices and Rituals, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and creativity. Your responsibilities will include organising sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and demonstrations, as well as managing product backlogs and ensuring quality outcomes are delivered within agreed timeframes. About you
It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you’ll tick some of the following boxes too:

  • Certified SAFE Agilest, Agile Coach, or Scrum Master or Scrum Practitioner equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing schedules, timelines and agile teams to ensure that deliverables are delivered on time, within budget and meeting quality standards.
  • Strong listening, negotiating and influencing skills
  • Proven knowledge of contemporary system testing methodologies, strategies, practices and procedures.
  • Understanding of User Stories as a requirement gathering approach
  • Proven ability to effectively plan, prioritise and manage multiple and competing activities to deliver IT services to meet business expectations
  • Demonstrable knowledge of one or more Software Development Lifecycles (SAFe, SCRUM, Agile, Lean, Prince 2 Methodologies)
  • Hands on experience using Agile processes, tools and technologies to deliver software products
  • Demonstrated experience in communicating effectively with various stakeholders and all levels of management.
  • Ability to lead, coach, motivate and mentor team members in good agile practices.
