About the role

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing and supporting application solutions that drive business outcomes and enhance member experiences.

  • Design, develop and deliver high-quality software solutions aligned to ART’s strategy and development standards
  • Analyse requirements, develop solutions and implement changes including coding, unit testing and documentation
  • Build and enhance Power Apps Canvas applications using structured, reusable components and scalable design patterns
  • Develop and optimise Power Automate cloud flows with robust error handling, logging and efficient API usage
  • Configure, support and troubleshoot systems, ensuring optimal application performance and reliability
  • Investigate incidents and system issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective resolutions
  • Contribute to planning, estimation, design and continuous improvement initiatives across platforms and technologies
  • Support release and deployment activities using pipelines and contribute to maintaining documentation and governance standards

 

This role is a permanent opportunity.

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:  

  • Proven ability to design and build structured, maintainable Power Apps Canvas applications using reusable components, strong UI logic and an understanding of delegation constraints (non-negotiable)
  • Demonstrated experience designing performant Power Automate cloud flows with appropriate triggers, transformation, error handling and optimisation (non-negotiable)
  • Strong experience designing efficient SharePoint Online data structures with awareness of indexing, thresholds, lookup limitations and performance considerations (non-negotiable)
  • Experience working within structured ALM practices including Solutions, environment variables, connection references and controlled release processes (non-negotiable)
  • Solid understanding of governance and security including DLP policies, connector restrictions and secure data handling practices (non-negotiable)
  • Proven ability to engineer maintainable solutions across application, automation and data layers, with strong troubleshooting capability (non-negotiable)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently, engage stakeholders and proactively identify and manage risks (non-negotiable)
  • Demonstrated software engineering experience including coding, testing, SQL/database knowledge and working within Agile or Waterfall delivery environments
