We’re looking for a Risk Manager – Transformation to support the Transformation business area, including the General Manager, Leadership Team, and the Customer Service Integration (CSI) program. This role is key to embedding a strong risk culture and ensuring effective risk management across all change initiatives, aligned with the ART Group Risk Management Framework. Your expertise will be crucial in the development of the area’s risk profile, conducting proactive assessments, and implementing evolving controls to meet business and regulatory needs. As a Risk Manager, you'll embody ART's values of courage, empathy, and excellence by supporting control owners with compliance and reporting, to deliver executive and Board-level insights, and manage scorecard risk metrics. Additional responsibilities include participating in governance forums, overseeing incident response, advising leaders on delivery risks, and acting as audit lead. You’ll collaborate with second and third line risk teams and champion a strong risk culture through leadership and training. About you It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: - Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, methodologies and controls, particularly in a transformational change environment.
- Knowledge of enterprise risk, operational risk and compliance requirements, including regulatory and governance expectations.
- Familiarity with change management, project governance and business transformation principles.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to influence, particularly in complex organisational structures and transformation teams.
- Proven experience in a Line 1 risk management role, ideally within transformation, change or project delivery environments.
- Experience embedding risk practices into strategic initiatives, programs or large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement risk controls, assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Experience in risk reporting, governance forums and risk monitoring.
- Ability to work at pace and within periods of ambiguity.
- Strong knowledge of APRA Risk Management Prudential Standards, operational risk, compliance frameworks, and control assurance processes.
- Tertiary qualifications in a business, commerce, law, risk and compliance management or related discipline is desired.
