About the role

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for design, development, and support of the Australian Retirement Trust’s (ART) mobile applications.

Day to day, you'll:

• Be responsible for the development and delivery of solutions in support of ART’s technical strategy.
• Assess, analyse, develop, document and implement changes based on requests for change.
• Prioritise and diagnose incidents according to agreed procedures and investigate causes of incidents to seek resolution.
• Perform code and design reviews of software developed by others in accordance with company standards, ensuring consistent high-quality solutions are developed.
• Assess and analyse release components. Provide input to scheduling. Prepare builds according to the release processes and procedures.
• Recommend and design structures and tools for systems which meet business needs and take into account target environment, performance & security requirements and existing systems.

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:  

• In-depth expertise and experience developing mobile applications using React Native.
• Experience writing and reviewing code using TypeScript and other modern JS tools and frameworks.
• Implement and maintain DevOps workflows for mobile builds and deployments
• Experience in app store management processes.
