About the role

As an Investment Services Specialist, you will assist in conducting investment operations and administration functions of the Fund including cashflow and liquidity management, liaising with and instructing the Fund’s Custodian, maintaining the integrity of unit pricing, monitoring of internal and external investment transactions and providing support to the Investment Operations and Performance and Investment Strategy teams.

Day to day, you'll:

• Assist and monitor internal trading processes, cashflow and liquidity management and internal query management.
• Assist and monitor the investment operations and administration services relating to the investment managers.
• Manage onboarding of assets from Successor Fund Transfers and merger activities.
• Assist and instruct transitions of listed equity and fixed income securities as well as manage changes to the unit pricing structure.
• Assist and monitor investment operations and administration services relating to the Custodian and Investment Administration Service providers.
• Oversee unit pricing integrity, validating valuation of assets and maintaining unit pricing policies / process.
• Participate in the end-to-end implementation process for approved unlisted investments and ensuring that investment decisions are implemented efficiently and accurately.
• Participate in Operational Due Diligence reviews on Investment Managers and Third Parties where required.

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:  

• Relevant university degree (e.g., Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business with a relevant finance and/or accounting major).
• Knowledge of investment concepts including listed markets, unlisted vehicles and treasury.
• Investment operations, custodian or investment manager experience.
• Strong numerical reasoning ability and a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
