About the role We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As the Manager – Market Insights and Analytics, you’ll lead a team that manages research and analysis to generate insights for business decisions. Day to day, you'll: - Drive strategic insights through market research, competitive analysis, and data analytics.
- Transform complex data into actionable recommendations that fuel growth and retention.
- Design and execute research programs, managing external vendors and internal resources.
- Mine market, competitor, and customer data to generate strategic insights.
- Develop use cases for predictive modelling and AI applications to support business objectives.
- Create clear, compelling visualisations and reports for stakeholder consumption.
- Translate complex, disparate data into simple, actionable narratives.
- Build and mentor high-performing analytics teams.
- Partner with strategy, product, and customer-facing teams.
- Champion data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
- Maintain analytics frameworks to meet evolving business needs.
This role is a permanent opportunity. Ideally, we'd like this role to be based in Brisbane, but we're happy to consider candidates in Sydney too. About you It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: - You have experience in research and insight planning processes, preferably in the superannuation or financial services industry.
- You hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant field or have equivalent work experience.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can simplify technical concepts.
- You’re passionate about translating market and customer insights to inspire improved customer experience.
- You have high-level experience in quantitative and qualitative market research design and implementation.
- You possess strong market research skills.
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and you can influence and build positive stakeholder relationships.
- You have highly developed problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- You can work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
