About the role

As an Assistant Advisor, you will play a key role within the Public Policy and Government Relations team. You will support the development and delivery of strategies that strengthen the Fund’s reputation and foster engagement with key internal and external stakeholders, all while aligning with our broader strategic goals. You’ll be involved in a variety of tasks including administrative support, drafting content, monitoring media and parliamentary calendars, and coordinating team activities.

 

Day to day, you'll:

  • Draft basic communication materials to support engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with the planning and logistics of corporate events and stakeholder meetings that support ART’s advocacy priorities.
  • Help coordinate responses to member queries, under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Contribute to the preparation of briefing documents and Q&As for senior leaders.
  • Provide administrative support for campaigns, sponsorships, and internal initiatives.
  • Monitor media and political developments.

 

This role is available as a permanent/ full-time opportunity. 

 

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:  

  • Tertiary qualification in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field (or working towards).
  • A solid understanding of the political environment in which ART operates.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
