About the role We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Software Quality Engineer, you’ll: - Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts across the testing pyramid.
- Execute automated and manual tests for new features and regression testing.
- Investigate and resolve defects, implementing corrective actions for recurring issues.
- Maintain defect records and suggest improvements to defect management processes.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor Graduate Software Quality Engineers.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support quality engineering practices.
- Document test solutions, including framework design and automation coverage.
- Capture and report test automation metrics and ensure traceability to requirements.
These roles are 12-month max-term opportunities. 📍 Location: Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. About you It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: - Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Experience with modern programming languages (e.g. C#, Java, TypeScript).
- Proficiency in UI and API test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, UFT, Postman).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab) and automation processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to mentor junior QA engineers and collaborate in team environments.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Behaviour Driven Development tools (e.g. SpecFlow, Cucumber, Visual Studio).
- ISTQB Foundation certification and knowledge of financial services (highly desirable).
