About the role We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer, you’ll: - Lead the development, improvement, and maintenance of technical systems underpinning ART’s core business applications.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement tools and methodologies that advance ART’s Continuous Delivery practices.
- Help define and maintain team-level standards for DevOps tools, techniques, and security guidelines.
- Provide technical guidance across all stages of project delivery, ensuring compliance with DevOps standards and methods.
- Collaborate with Release, Environment, and Project teams to develop and maintain build pipelines, deployment templates, and integration processes.
- Lead the design and implementation of application and platform solutions across cloud and on‑premises environments.
- Perform capacity and performance management for applications and platforms across PaaS, container, and shared compute services.
- Partner with Test Leads and delivery teams to enhance automation tooling and improve quality within deployment pipelines.

We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: - A bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Experience managing critical applications across on‑premises, Azure, AWS, or Linux/Windows environments.
- Experience working within Agile software development teams using tools such as Jira.
- Hands‑on experience with deployment automation tools (e.g., Bamboo, Puppet, Octopus Deploy).
- Strong capability building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience implementing test automation and security automation within continuous delivery pipelines.
- Experience with PaaS orchestration (Azure, AWS, OpenShift, containerisation).
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring skills with a collaborative, problem‑solving mindset.
