About the role We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. Australian Retirement Trust (ART) is on the lookout for an Application Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting our IT applications, ensuring they run smoothly for our end users. You'll manage incidents and service requests, following our defined processes to ensure timely and effective resolutions. Your day-to-day will involve providing application maintenance, instructing clients and team members on business systems, and contributing to our availability management process.
We're looking for someone who embodies our values of courage, empathy, and excellence. You'll be responsible for implementing disaster recovery procedures, managing software configurations, and ensuring our release processes are top-notch. Building trusted relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be key, as will liaising with vendors for system support and development. About you It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you’ll tick some of the following boxes too: - Demonstrated experience in supporting complex IT systems.
- Extensive support experience with front and back-office transaction processing.
- Excellent problem solving, problem management and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and negotiate in writing and verbally with business, technical and supplier personnel.
- Experience in Superannuation or Financial Services Industry
- Knowledge of the full SDLC and Agile methodologies
- ITIL Foundation certification.
