About the role As Manager – Reward, you’ll lead the design, delivery and governance of Australian Retirement Trust’s reward, recognition and global mobility frameworks. This role plays a critical part in ensuring fair, compliant and market‑competitive remuneration outcomes that support high performance and reinforce ART’s values. Working closely with senior leaders, People & Culture partners and governance forums, you’ll provide expert advice and insight across enterprise‑wide performance and reward activities. You’ll also lead key annual cycles and disclosures while continuously evolving reward practices to meet regulatory requirements and organisational strategy. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence outcomes that matter for our people and our members. Key aspects of the role include: - Leading the end‑to‑end delivery of core reward activities, including the Performance and Remuneration Review cycle
- Designing, maintaining and governing reward, recognition and global mobility frameworks and policies
- Providing expert remuneration advice to senior leaders, committees and governance forums
- Preparing high‑quality reward‑related submissions and papers for executive and Board‑level audiences
- Overseeing reward disclosures, including annual remuneration reporting and regulatory requirements
- Driving pay equity analysis, role sizing, benchmarking and market insights
- Monitoring regulatory developments and industry best practice to ensure ongoing compliance
- Building strong partnerships across People & Culture, Risk, Legal and Finance
- Leading, coaching and developing a high‑performing Reward and Recognition team

- Demonstrated success operating as a senior leader, influencing outcomes and providing trusted advice to executives and Board‑level stakeholders
- Deep technical expertise across remuneration, reward and performance frameworks, including complex governance and regulatory environments
- Extensive experience designing, implementing and governing enterprise‑wide remuneration and reward programs
- Strong capability leading annual remuneration and performance review cycles end‑to‑end in large or complex organisations
- Advanced analytical skills, with hands‑on experience in role sizing, benchmarking, market analysis and pay equity reporting
- Confidence navigating complex reward issues, assessing risk and providing pragmatic, well‑considered recommendations
- Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to translate technical remuneration concepts into clear, compelling advice
- A collaborative leadership style, with a strong ability to partner across People & Culture and broader enterprise functions
