About the role

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. We’re seeking a motivated Risk Analyst to join our Business Risk Management team. In this role, you’ll support the organisation’s risk framework by assisting with the identification, assessment, and monitoring of Line 1 risks across ART. Working closely with the Risk Manager, you’ll help ensure risk management practices are consistently applied, regulatory requirements are met, and meaningful insights are delivered to stakeholders.

Day to day, you'll:

• Support governance frameworks: Assist with Line 1 risk standards and ways of working.
• Enhance risk data capability: Develop reporting analysis and deliver insights.
• Coordinate Line 1 activities: Manage risk & control registers, assurance, and reporting cadence.
• Contribute to risk reporting: Provide timely insights to stakeholders.
• Monitor compliance: Ensure regulatory requirements and internal standards are met.
• Drive continuous improvement: Support enhancements to risk practices and GRC system functionality.
• Stay informed: Keep up with industry best practices and regulatory changes.

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:  

• Tertiary qualification in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Knowledge of risk principles: Enterprise risk, operational risk, and compliance requirements.
• Analytical skills: Strong problem-solving and data analysis capability.
• Understanding of superannuation regulations: Knowledge of insurance in super compliance requirements.
• Communication skills: Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
