About the role Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a strategic Line 1 risk role, supporting the broader Finance and Strategy business area in fulfilling its executive risk management obligations. You will be responsible for overseeing risk governance and compliance activities across Finance and Strategy, ensuring alignment with the ART Group Risk Management Framework. This includes managing the material risks owned by the CFO, fulfilling obligations under the financial accountability regime obligations (FAR), and promoting a strong and consistent risk culture across Finance and Strategy. You will act as the centre of excellence for risk management within Finance and Strategy—providing guidance, coordination, and oversight to ensure consistent and effective risk practices are embedded. Day to day, you'll: Support the Finance and Strategy Leadership Team in aligning business unit risk activities with the ART RMF, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and managed within the Board’s risk appetite. Support the CFO in managing and monitoring the risk profile of the Material Risks in line with Board expectations. Take ownership of the Finance and Strategy Corporate Risk Scorecard risk metrics, assisting Finance and Strategy to meet or exceed performance targets. Represent the Finance and Strategy Leadership Team at quarterly emerging risk workshops, making sure any emerging people risks are identified and continue to be managed. Act as the Finance and Strategy lead conduit for audit programs, regulatory reviews and other assurance activities. Act as the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) representative across Finance and Strategy, including facilitating Business Impact Assessments, and subsequent reviews of the Business Continuity Plans. Prepare risk reports for Finance and Strategy, Management, and Board Committees, highlighting key risk insights. Collaborate with Line 1 and line 2 Risk teams across the enterprise to mature the risk profile and embed consistent People Risk practices.

- Familiarity with change management, project governance and business transformation principles.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and interpersonal skills to influence, particularly in complex organisational structures and transformation teams.
- Proven experience in a Line 1 risk management role, ideally within transformation and change environments.
- Experience embedding risk practices into strategic initiatives, programs or large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement risk controls, assessments and mitigation strategies, with a focus on proactive risk management and education.
- Strong knowledge of APRA Risk Management Prudential Standards, operational risk, compliance frameworks, and control assurance processes.
