Retirement Actuary
Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne QLD

About the role

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Retirement Actuary, you’ll help shape the future of retirement products and strategies.

 

Day to day, you'll:

  • Dive into complex research and analysis to guide product decisions.
  • Build and maintain financial projections for retirement products.
  • Monitor and review retirement strategies and product performance.
  • Support compliance and risk management across the team.
  • Lead or join strategic projects to drive innovation.

This role is a 10-month max-term / secondment opportunity to cover maternity leave.

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. You’ll thrive in a team and bring fresh ideas to the table. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:  

  • Tertiary qualifications in actuarial, finance, investments, commerce or economics.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian superannuation industry.
  • Advanced research and analysis skills, with experience in superannuation.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and teamwork abilities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
