About the role

As a Senior Specialist – Service Provider Framework & Governance, you will lead and provide expert guidance across the service provider lifecycle, ensuring consistent enterprise-wide practices for the Service Provider Framework. You will influence policy and process design, working closely with business units, procurement teams, and subject matter experts to implement strategic enhancements to governance, resources, and enabling technology.

Day to day, you'll:

• Lead the evolution and governance of the Service Provider Framework, including policies, standards, and tools.
• Provide strategic advice and trusted guidance to the business and stakeholders on navigating the service provider lifecycle.
• Oversee risk assessments, due diligence, and compliance monitoring, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver strategic improvements and embed streamlined lifecycle processes.
• Ensure robust governance for policy and process changes to support effective adoption.
• Manage controls, risks, and issues across the service provider lifecycle, ensuring accurate resolution.
• Coordinate and enhance external client risk assessment processes, ensuring timely responses.

This role is available as a 12- month max-term/ secondment opportunity. 

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:  

• Deep understanding of service provider legislation and regulations, and other contractual codes and standards across the supplier lifecycle.
• Proven ability to operate within a procurement centre-led and enablement function, delivering governance, strategic guidance, and advisory support across the service provider lifecycle.
• Highly developed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with a track record of building and sustaining productive relationships and partnerships.
• Strong problem-solving and option analysis skills, with ability to assess options and recommend strategic solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in driving and supporting change, including governance and adoptions activities within complex environments.
