This is a highly influential role at the centre of how the Investment business area sets direction and delivers. You’ll lead the multi‑year business planning cycle, ensuring the investment business area strategic priorities translate into a coherent roadmap with clear priorities and measurable outcomes. Reporting to the General Manager, Sustainable Investment & Planning, you’ll work closely with senior leaders across Investments and partner teams (including risk, finance, investment operations and investment legal) to align assumptions, trade‑offs and delivery commitments and provide high‑quality reporting for executive and committee forums. Day to day, you'll: - Lead the multi‑year planning process across the Investments business area, ensuring alignment with ART’s enterprise strategy and long-term investment outcomes.
- Shape strategic options and recommendations for senior leaders including prioritisation, sequencing, interdependencies and key trade‑offs.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align inputs and drive end‑to‑end development and execution of multi‑year business plans.
- Oversee the delivery of strategic initiatives, including defining success measures and tracking outcomes.
- Provide high‑quality insights, reports and recommendations to senior leadership and the Investment Committee on progress, outcomes, risks and opportunities.
- Monitor industry, regulatory and market developments to inform strategic priorities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent ART on committees and at industry forums, contributing thought leadership and enhancing our brand.
- Lead, develop and support a high‑performing team in an inclusive and values‑driven environment.

About you You're a strategic thinker who can connect the dots across a complex function turning ambition into aligned, executable multi-year roadmap. You are a natural collaborator with experience in investments and the ability to influence senior stakeholders through clear, evidence-based recommendations. You’ll likely tick some of these boxes: - You hold relevant tertiary qualifications, with a degree or postgraduate qualification in finance, investments, economics, commerce, engineering or a related discipline.
- You have deep experience in the investments industry, with strong knowledge of legislation, regulation, market dynamics, risk return optimisation and emerging industry trends.
- You bring exceptional research and analytical capability, using data, insights and evidence to inform strategic, innovative thinking.
- You’re highly skilled in stakeholder management and negotiation, and you’re comfortable influencing senior leaders and executive audiences.
- You’ve successfully led and developed teams, and you’ll foster an inclusive, high performance culture that supports growth and delivery.
