About the role

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Business Improvement Specialist, you’ll be responsible for leading and delivering a range of high visibility programs that optimise business capabilities and technology platforms for employees who support members directly (Member Services), employers and advisers.

 

This role entails leading initiatives and achieving outcomes aligned with long term strategic objectives including those driven internally from Member Services. The Business Improvement Specialist represent the business across key programs aimed at enhancing the customer experience for employees, advisers, and members while providing the Head of Member Services with operational and strategic guidance on business enablement methods and technology platforms.

 

At the core of this role is delivering exceptional communication, continuous improvement, and change management to ensure the Member Services team is equipped to support Australian Retirement Trust’s members and deliver a quality service. 

This role is permanent opportunity. 

 

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills we'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely your tick some of the following boxes too.

  • Strong understanding of Customer Services Contact Centre industry, environment and metrics and ability to apply the insight to deliver business success. 
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of change management, leadership, motivation, and adult learning principles.
  • Demonstrated high-level understanding of enabling technology and performance reporting that support business processes within a Member Services environment.
  • Sound business writing skills with the ability to update Knowledge Management Systems.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the superannuation industry and subsequent components of this including detailed knowledge of the Adviser and employer markets and how to service to these.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop business plans for a commercially oriented service delivery organisation and the ability to plan, organise and prioritise work and resources to meet goals and agreed quality standards.
  • Experience in facilitating outcomes through stakeholder management and relationships.
  • Strong of business acumen, with the ability to deliver within a changing environment and developing strategies.
