About the role We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As an Employee Relations Specialist in our Performance, Reward and Governance team, you will play a critical part in a diverse range of employee relations initiatives. In particular, you will: - Provide support and advice to the People & Culture team and the organisation on complex ER issues, including performance, discipline, injury and illness, long term absence, restructuring, terminations, disputes, complaints and investigations
- Devise pragmatic solutions to complex queries, drawing upon detailed understanding of employment law, operational priorities and people management
- Undertake investigations and/or brief external providers as needed
- Represent the organisation at tribunals and the Fair Work Commission
- Support the negotiation and implementation of Enterprise Agreements and provide advice to the People & Culture team and Leaders across the organisation to ensure compliance with, and consistent application of, Enterprise Agreements.

- Strong case management experience and demonstrated ability to engage and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Exposure to Enterprise Agreement negotiation and implementation for a medium to large organisation
- Highly developed knowledge of employment legislation and ability to conduct legal research
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Human Resources, or another related field.
