Underwriting Administrator

Take hold of a monster opportunity in our Claims and Underwriting team.

This is a 6-month secondment opportunity!

 

About the role

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As an Underwriting Administrator, you'll be primarily responsible for providing high level business process support to Underwriters.

 

Day to day, you'll: 

  • Evaluate and assess applications for Transfer of Insurance.
  • Search, establish and maintain client application records.
  • Enter decision information onto the database.
  • Maintain all end-to-end member correspondence.
  • Ensure compliance of document records for applications.
  • Handle all member correspondence from start to finish through telephone, email and SMS.

 

About you

You perform at your best in a busy work environment where you can show off your organisational and multitasking skills. As a team player, you're a strong and effective communicator who is committed to accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks. It's quite likely you'll tick some of the following boxes too:

  • You have proven administrative experience preferably with knowledge of insurance.
  • You're proactive, resilient and can manage sensitive and time critical administrative functions successfully.
  • You have experience with WorkQ, Acurity and DRMS systems.
  • You have a can-do attitude and a flexible and mature approach to work tasks, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
