About the role

Australian Retirement Trust (ART) is looking for a Technical Lead to join our Digital Applications team on a permanent basis. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our technology aligns with and supports our business strategy. You'll work closely with our internal architecture team, cross-organisational stakeholders, vendors, and technical specialists to lead the development and design of cutting-edge technology platforms. Your expertise will be crucial in promoting high-quality solution design, championing governance standards, and implementing best practices.

As a Technical Lead at ART, you'll provide effective technical leadership, manage risks, and foster collaboration and mentoring within the team. You'll stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest product features and new technologies, contributing to our platform roadmap, and articulating the vision and strategy for our platforms. About you
It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you’ll tick some of the following boxes too:

• Demonstrable experience with Agile delivery methodologies (SAFe, SCRUM etc) including Agile solution design and documentation techniques.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Solution Architecture processes, methods and frameworks.
• Demonstrable extensive experience in IT, with proven experience in roles relevant to Technology Architecture or Systems Analysis within a large or mid-sized corporate environment.
• Ability to lead, coach, motivate and mentor technical team members in good architectural practices.
• Demonstrated ability to handle conflict resolution between requirements and deliverables.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and tasks.
• Demonstrated superior problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as creativity and the ability to work with abstract concepts.
• Demonstrated extensive knowledge of designing/constructing and managing solutions within internal, outsourced and cloud environments.
• Demonstrated experience in communicating effectively with business stakeholders, vendors, technical specialists, and management.
• Experience with Kubernetes design and implementation.
