Team Leader - Member Services

About the role

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their superannuation, and while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Team Leader in Member Services, you will have the ability to help improve the financial wellbeing of our members through growing the capability of our people, your team.

 

You will apply your experience leading, motivating and coaching a team of Member Services Consultants to provide outstanding customer service to our members.

 

Day to day, you'll:

  • Coach team members one-on-one to deliver efficient and effective customer experiences
  • Contributing to the Member Services leadership team to identify opportunities to improve our service to members
  • Manage the risks which stem from working in a highly regulated environment through monitoring and supporting your frontline team
  • Proactively driving the implementation of change initiatives for your team and supporting them through it

This role is a permanent opportunity. 

 

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:  

  • A proven track record of people leadership and operational leadership experience 
  • Experience in the call centre environment and strong understanding of how it operates including metrics and systems
  • Ability to acquire knowledge and understanding of the superannuation, financial planning and related industries and relevant legislation
  • Demonstrated experience motivating teams and uplifting team performance whilst also working with individuals one-one-one to improve performance or behaviour in performance management situations
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to pivot when required
  • A genuine passion for customer service and the ability to inspire and lead others to deliver outstanding customer experiences
