We’re looking for a Senior Manager – Government to lead the development and execution of our government growth strategy. You’ll be responsible for aligning people, processes, and strategies to deliver strong commercial and customer outcomes. This role is all about creating a customer-first environment, building strategic alliances, and supporting marketing and retention efforts that increase member engagement and drive growth. You’ll work across teams and with senior stakeholders to ensure our government portfolio continues to thrive—while keeping the member experience at the heart of everything you do. This is a permanent opportunity. About you It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. - You’ve led large teams and know how to drive performance while building a positive culture.
- You hold tertiary qualifications in business, finance, or a related field.
- You’ve got experience leading change and delivering transformation across complex organisations.
- You’ve managed senior client relationships—at executive and board levels—especially in super, insurance, or investments.
- You’re a strong presenter and communicator, able to engage individuals and groups with clarity and confidence.
- You’ve got a proven track record in sales and relationship management in B2B environments.
- You understand the market and can spot opportunities, quantify benefits, and communicate them clearly.
- You’re great at building internal and external partnerships, and you know how to influence across all levels—including execs, boards, industry bodies, and regulators.
- You know the financial services industry inside out—from market trends to regulatory requirements—and you use that knowledge to deliver strong outcomes.
