As a Business Improvement Specialist, you’ll be responsible developing comprehensive playbooks, documenting processes and procedures, engaging with stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring that our remediation strategies are effectively operationalized and aligned with regulatory and business expectations. The role entails leading initiatives and achieving outcomes aligned with long term strategic objectives including those driven internally as well as providing guidance and training to team members on procedural and technical issues and supporting leaders with operational planning. At the core of this role is delivering exceptional communication, support, continuous improvement, and change management to ensure the Member Operations team is equipped to support Australian Retirement Trust’s members and deliver quality services. This role is a permanent opportunity. Day to day, you'll: - Represent the business across key programs aimed at enhancing the customer experience for employees, advisers, employers and members.
- Responsible for the established system for identifying, reviewing and implementing remediation procedures across Member Operations.
- Be responsible for the prioritisation of playbook development, process improvement ideas and the execution of prioritised ideas.
- Role model and champion initiatives and proactively support the leadership team to work towards positive outcomes.
- You will be responsible for supporting and delivering change initiatives, ensuring successful adoption and minimal disruption to the business.
- This role requires strong planning and prioritisation skills to effectively manage competing demands and deliver on key outcomes.
- A key part of this role involves documenting processes in line with compliance and business requirements, ensuring procedures are fit for purpose.
- Contribute to a high-performing team of specialists who provide effective subject matter expertise to analyse and improve complex business problems. Identify risks and blockers to continuous improvement delivery and develop specific plans that mitigate or address risks and blockers.
- Utilise appropriate communication channels within the business including town halls, weekly updates, HivePro and any ad hoc communications.
. About you It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you’ll tick some of the following boxes too. - Strong understanding of Customer Service (superannuation) industry, environment and metrics and ability to apply the insight to deliver business success.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to deliver within a changing environment and developing strategies
- Strong Stakeholder engagement skills, familiar with risk, compliance and legal business areas
- Demonstrated understanding and application of change management, leadership, motivation and adult learning principles.
- Demonstrated high-level understanding of enabling technology and performance reporting that support business processes within Member Operations environment.
- Sound business writing skills with the ability to update knowledge management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to develop business plans for a commercially oriented service delivery organisation and the ability to plan, organise and prioritise work resources to meet goals and agreed quality standards.
