About the role

We’re on the hunt for a curious and collaborative Business Analyst to join our ART Life team on a fixed-term basis through to 30 June 2026. In this role, you’ll work closely with project sponsors, stakeholders and tech teams to shape data and reporting solutions that are not only fit-for-purpose but also aligned with our data governance frameworks. From mapping data sources to maintaining governance artefacts and supporting data risk management initiatives, you’ll be right at the heart of how we use data to drive better decisions.

This role is perfect for someone who’s comfortable juggling multiple priorities, asking the right questions, and keeping communication flowing between teams. You’ll be involved in everything from impact analysis and process improvement to helping define internal standards and supporting large-scale projects. We’re looking for someone who brings courage, empathy and excellence to their work—and who’s keen to help lift our data maturity while making a real difference across the organisation. About you
It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you’ll tick some of the following boxes too:

  • Understanding of Business Intelligence, Business Process Management as well as other aspects of reporting/analytics is required.
  • High-level interpersonal, both written and oral communications skills, including the ability to negotiate, consult and liaise with business, technical and supplier personnel on complex and technical IT issues and to develop and present reports, submissions and recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a Business Intelligence, application or continuous improvement team and knowledge of BI Platforms with relation to data design and development tools.
  • Demonstrated high level skills in stakeholder management and developing trusted and enduring relationships with business clients, including consultation, facilitation and proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in the implementation of a quality client focused service delivery culture in a medium sized corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of the full SDLC and Agile methodologies (desirable, but not essential).
  • Understanding of Insurance or financial services (desirable, but not essential).
