Finance Business Partner (ART Life)

About the role

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Business Partner, you’ll:

  • Be a trusted advisor to the ART Life business unit, delivering financial insights and recommendations.
  • Drive monthly performance analysis and trend reporting to support strategic decisions.
  • Lead the preparation of ongoing forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Provide expert financial advice to senior stakeholders and contribute to board-level submissions.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Deliver monthly management reporting and P&L presentations.
  • Analyse operating performance and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Driven the annual budget preparation process.
  • Collaborate on reporting to the Board.
  • Prepare quarterly scorecards and reporting requirements.
  • Mentor junior finance team members.
  • Recommend process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate financial information flow.

This role is a 12 month max-term/secondment opportunity. 

 

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:  

  • You’re CA/CPA qualified with a degree in accounting, business, finance, or commerce.
  • You know Microsoft Excel inside out and have strong financial control discipline.
  • You’re confident preparing board-level financial analysis and reports.
  • You work well independently and know when to keep things confidential.
  • You can comfortably juggle a few different jobs at the same time.
  • You’re familiar with superannuation and financial advice industries.
  • You’ve used business intelligence tools like PowerBI (bonus!).
