About the role We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. Reporting to the Portfolio Commercial Manager, you’ll support the Senior Finance Partner in managing and reporting on program costs and benefits. Your day-to-day will involve hands-on financial analysis, reporting, and ensuring strong financial controls throughout the program lifecycle. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing relationships with key stakeholders ensuring information is accurate, timely and relevant. You’ll help uplift our data and analytics capabilities, turning numbers into meaningful business insights and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing across the program. Day to day, you'll: - Assist the reporting process, ensuring deadlines and requirements are met.
- Analyse financial data to uncover trends and provide actionable insights.
- Create clear, engaging reports for senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project teams to align reporting with their goals.
- Develop and maintain consistent reporting templates.
- Troubleshoot reporting issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain and update financial models to support program reporting.
- Respond to ad-hoc financial requests with timely, accurate analysis.
This role is a permanent opportunity. About you It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: Professional accounting qualifications such as Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA ANZ), Certified Practising Accounts Australia (CPA) or equivalent. Proven experience in project reporting or a similar analytical role. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and reporting requirements. Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely, and influence at a senior level. Experience in the preparation and presentation of financial and non-financial reports for senior stakeholders. Intermediate level Excel and Word skills.
