   About the role We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As an Application Support Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our business applications run smoothly and efficiently. You will monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot software applications to support our users and resolve issues quickly. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with both technical and non-technical teams to deliver excellent service.    Day to day, you'll: - Provide maintenance and support for business applications, ensuring processes and documentation are up to date.
 - Respond to and resolve support requests according to agreed procedures.
 - Analyse and manage the availability of services and components to meet performance targets.
 - Implement and test disaster recovery procedures.
 - Investigate, prioritise, and resolve incidents, escalating when necessary and documenting outcomes.
 - Assist with configuring software products and testing platform-specific versions.
 - Manage the packaging, building, testing, and deployment of application changes and updates.
 
   This role is a permanent opportunity.    📍 Location: Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.    About you It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:   - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
 - Experience supporting complex IT systems and business applications.
 - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
 - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 - Ability to manage incidents and service requests efficiently.
 - Experience with software configuration, testing, and deployment.
 - Knowledge of disaster recovery and risk management processes.
 - Ability to build effective relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
