About the role

As a Senior Training and Knowledge Specialist, you’ll lead the design, development, implementation, support and maintenance of the knowledge management self-service platform and the division’s training programs, ensuring alignment with governance frameworks and industry best practices. 

Day to day, you'll:

• Ensure all training solutions and knowledge systems align with governance frameworks and industry best practices.
• Minimise business risk and ensure regulatory compliance in accordance with Risk and Compliance Management Framework.
• Drive continuous improvement in knowledge systems and training solutions to support staff self-development, delivering effective onboarding, training, and technical skill enhancement programs across the division and border business.
• Deliver effective onboarding, training and technical uplift programs to meet the divisions and business needs.
• Ensure training programs are aligned with organisational objectives and improve employee performance and engagement.
• Support the Training & Knowledge Team to uplift the knowledge of technical staff across the business on complex superannuation topics.

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:  

• Strong understanding of knowledge management systems, learning technologies, and training methodologies.
• Familiarity with governance frameworks, industry best practices, and compliance standards in training and development.
• In-depth knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Knowledge of various learning management systems (LMS) and self-service platforms
• Proven ability to interpret and simplify complex technical knowledge into bite-size, easily understandable knowledge pieces.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
