About the role

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Data Analyst, you’ll be part of the Insurance Analytics team, working with Senior Analysts to lift performance and deliver trusted insights.

 

Day to day, you'll:

  • Support dashboards, reports and data extracts that drive business decisions.
  • Analyse operational and performance data to spot trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and shape meaningful analysis.
  • Blend internal and external data to build a clearer view of performance.
  • Run ad hoc queries and data extractions to support reporting and small modelling projects.

This role is a 6-month secondment opportunity. 

 

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills.

You’re curious, analytical and practical, with a strong interest in how data powers the business.

 

It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:  

  • Strong analytical thinking, with confidence solving data problems.
  • A technical background and genuine interest in how things work.
  • Solid business acumen and an ability to understand how the business operates.
  • Intermediate Excel and SQL skills, and experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Comfortable working with structured and unstructured data.
  • Experience in the insurance industry (not essential).
  • An understanding of claims or rehab processes (not essential).
