About the role

As a Risk and Assurance Analyst, you will support the delivery of first‑line risk and assurance activities across the Commercial Performance and Governance (CP&G) team—including EPMO, Project Finance, Strategic Sourcing and Commercial Finance—as well as the Strategy team. You will contribute to risk and assurance activities and reporting, help embed a strong risk culture, and champion risk management practices aligned to the ART Group Risk Management Framework (RMF).

Day to day, you'll:

• Support the uplift and embedment of effective First Line Risk practices across CP&G and Strategy, including assurance reviews, risk reporting and control assessments.
• Assist with the delivery of assurance reviews and controls testing across strategic planning, procurement and financial forecasting, escalating key risks and issues as required.
• Support control owners to meet compliance obligations, assess control effectiveness and implement risk mitigation actions.
• Prepare risk reporting and insights for senior leaders and support governance reporting related to financial, procurement and strategic risk.
• Assist with incident, issue and audit activities, including tracking actions, supporting investigations and driving continuous improvement.
• Prepare and validate risk data to ensure accurate, reliable reporting and decision‑making.

This role is available as a permanent/ full-time opportunity.

• Demonstrated experience in the understanding of risk management frameworks, methodologies and controls.
• Knowledge of enterprise risk, operational risk and compliance requirements, including regulatory and governance expectations.
• Experience in completing assurance activities and reporting.
• Experience embedding risk practices into all Line of Business activities.
• Demonstrated ability to tests and create risk controls.
