As a Cloud and Infrastructure Manager you’ll provide strategic and people leadership across ART’s cloud and infrastructure platforms, ensuring secure, reliable and future‑ready technology services that support our members and business outcomes. Leading a cross‑functional team of specialists, you will be accountable for platform ownership, service performance, vendor management and continuous improvement across ART’s infrastructure landscape. Key responsibilities include: - Providing end‑to‑end leadership and technical platform ownership across ART’s cloud and infrastructure services, including datacentre, cloud and managed services
- Owning and overseeing core infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Kubernetes, enterprise file share services, data protection, SAN and server operating systems (Windows, Red Hat Linux, HP‑UX)
- Leading and developing a high‑performing team of infrastructure and cloud specialists, fostering capability uplift, accountability and continuous improvement
- Ensuring enterprise monitoring, alerting, automation and operational tooling are effective, scalable and aligned to ART standards
- Managing relationships with managed infrastructure service providers and technology vendors, including contract ownership and performance management
- Ensuring production and development environments are secure, resilient and healthy, including oversight of incident and critical incident management
- Driving delivery using Agile and SAFe practices, including sprint planning, dependency management, risk management and transparent reporting
- Partnering with business and technology leaders to deliver infrastructure solutions that support strategic initiatives and transition smoothly into BAU
This role is a 12-month max-term opportunity. 📍 Location: Brisbane. About you It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: - Proven experience leading cloud and infrastructure teams in a large, complex enterprise environment
- Strong technical understanding of cloud and infrastructure platforms, including AWS, Kubernetes, datacentre services, enterprise storage, data protection and server operating systems
- Demonstrated experience owning and operating enterprise platforms such as monitoring and alerting, automation services and enterprise file share solutions
- Experience managing managed service providers and vendors, including contracts, service performance and cost control
- Solid understanding of Agile, SAFe or similar delivery frameworks, with the ability to lead teams through planning, execution and continuous improvement
- Strong risk management capability, including identifying, escalating and managing operational and delivery risks
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence across technology and business teams
- A background in developing people, building high‑performing teams and creating a safe, inclusive and accountable team culture
Experience within financial services or superannuation, and exposure to hybrid cloud architectures, will be highly regarded.
