About the role

As an Associate Portfolio Manager – Implementation & Portfolio Analytics, you'll support the successful execution of ART’s diversified investment strategy. You’ll provide deep analytical insights that inform portfolio construction, performance evaluation, and rebalancing decisions, always with members’ best financial interests at the core. This is a hands‑on role for someone who thrives at the intersection of investment strategy, data, and execution.

Day to day, you'll:

• Deliver sophisticated quantitative analysis and insights to support portfolio implementation and investment decision‑making.
• Design and enhance performance and attribution analytics at both asset class and whole‑of‑portfolio level.
• Develop tools that inform and support portfolio implementation, contributing to efficient and scalable solutions.
• Partner closely with investment, trading, and sustainable investment teams to ensure analytics effectively support execution outcomes.
• Analyse and visualise financial market data to clearly communicate investment outcomes to senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of investment analytics, tools, and reporting.
• Support governance, risk management, and compliance obligations across the investment domain.
• Provide research, analysis, and strategic insights that inform portfolio and strategy reviews.
• Build strong internal and external relationships and contribute thought leadership within your domain.

About you

• You hold a relevant qualification in Finance, Mathematics, Business, Commerce, or Economics.
• You bring strong research and analytical capability, using data and financial modelling to generate clear, actionable investment insights.
• You’re comfortable defending a well‑reasoned view, constructively challenging others, and engaging in robust investment debate in a professional way.
• You enjoy working collaboratively and you contribute positively to high‑performing, team‑based environments.
• You have a high level of attention to detail, paired with initiative, curiosity, and strong self‑motivation.
• You communicate complex ideas clearly and confidently to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• You’re able to identify emerging issues, understand their implications, and develop practical strategies to address them.
