Administration Officer

About the role

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. We’re now seeking a proactive and organised Administration Officer passionate about supporting a team that helps others during life’s most challenging moments.

 

Reporting to the Team Leader – Claims and Underwriting Administration, you’ll be accountable for:

  • Managing the intake of new claim forms
  • Following up outstanding documentation with members, employers, or medical practitioners
  • Sorting, indexing, and organising incoming correspondence
  • Writing and reviewing insurance letters
  • Preparing WorkQ for lump sum payments and assisting with insurance queries
  • Answering and directing inbound queries
  • Supporting ongoing process improvements
  • Handling records management, including liaising with external storage providers

About you

This role is perfect for the administration professional who loves helping things run smoothly behind the scenes.

 

It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes: 

  • Previous experience in administration (or similar) support role
  • Strong judgement, integrity, and the ability to handle sensitive information
  • Comfort working in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Knowledge of insurance, claims operations, or related legislation or willingness to learn is desirable
