About the role

As an End User Computing (EUC) Technician at Australian Retirement Trust, you will be a key part of our Digital Workplace team, delivering high‑quality, customer‑focused technical support to our Brisbane‑based workforce. This is a highly visible, customer‑facing role operating within a tech hub / walk‑up support model, where you’ll be the go‑to person for resolving end user technology issues and ensuring a seamless workplace experience.

 

This role is Brisbane office‑based, five days per week for the first 3–6 months, before transitioning to a work‑from‑home roster.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Provide hands‑on, walk‑up (tech hub) and desk‑side support for end users across a broad range of end user technologies.
  • Support, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual EUC devices, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, AV, print, digital signage, and workplace tools.
  • Deliver high‑quality, customer‑focused technical support to internal stakeholders, including executives, VIP users, and investment teams.
  • Support Microsoft‑based environments, including Windows desktop, Microsoft 365, Teams, Intune, and collaboration tools.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, and change requests through ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
  • Perform installation, configuration, commissioning, and maintenance of hardware, operating systems, and software.
  • Contribute to documentation, knowledge articles, and continuous improvement within the EUC and Digital Workplace team.
  • Participate in projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the end user experience across ART.

 

This role is a permanent opportunity.

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:  

  • Proven experience in a customer‑facing EUC, desktop support, or service desk role within a corporate or enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of end user technologies, including Windows desktops, laptops, mobile devices (iOS/Android), and collaboration tools.
  • Hands‑on experience supporting Microsoft 365, Teams, and related productivity and collaboration platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for helping customers face‑to‑
  • Experience working in a walk‑up support, tech hub, or desk‑side support model (highly desirable).
  • Familiarity with IT service management tools and processes (e.g. ServiceNow, ITIL‑aligned environments).
  • Willingness to work on‑site in the Brisbane office five days per week initially and participate in on‑call or out‑of‑hours support when required.
