Senior Strategy Analyst
Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne

About the role

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Senior Strategy Analyst, you’ll sit at the heart of strategic decision‑making for our Members Line of Business. You’ll use data, insights and structured thinking to shape strategy, evaluate options and support evidence‑led decisions that genuinely improve member outcomes. You’ll partner closely with senior leaders, Group Strategy, Insights & Analytics, Business Intelligence and adjacent business units to turn strategy into action.

 

Day to day, you'll:

  • Lead the discovery, design and development of integrated strategies aligned to ART’s broader organisational strategy.
  • Apply data, research and insights to build and continuously improve strategic frameworks.
  • Shape business cases, investment proposals, success metrics and benefit‑realisation frameworks.
  • Apply modelling to assess strategic options, balancing member outcomes, cost, risk and sustainability.
  • Support business planning, including initiative prioritisation, sequencing and roadmap development.
  • Maintain and monitor strategic roadmaps and business plan for the Members Line of Business.
  • Develop clear, executive‑ready insights and recommendations to address complex strategic questions.
  • Partner across the organisation to drive alignment and enable successful execution.

 

This role is a permanent opportunity.

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:  

  • You hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as business, economics, finance or analytics.
  • You bring extensive experience in strategy, corporate planning, transformation or management consulting within large, complex organisations.
  • You’re experienced in developing and supporting member‑ or customer‑centric strategies, and you know how to prioritise, sequence and align initiatives to organisational outcomes.
  • You’ll have a strong track record of developing business cases, investment proposals and benefit‑realisation frameworks that clearly link member outcomes to financial, operational and regulatory objectives.
  • You’re highly skilled in member, market, competitive and industry analysis, and you can synthesise qualitative and quantitative insights into clear, executive‑level recommendations.
  • You apply strategic frameworks confidently to structure thinking, solve complex problems and support robust decision‑making.
  • You’re comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and supporting executive decision‑making through clear, structured and evidence‑based insights.
  • You bring a strong member‑first mindset, balancing member outcomes with cost, risk and long‑term sustainability.
  • You’re an advanced problem solver who can navigate ambiguity and develop well‑considered, evidence‑based options.
  • You communicate with impact - you’ll translate complex or technical concepts into clear, accessible messages for diverse audiences through strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
