About the role We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As an Application Support Engineer, you’ll be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing ART’s critical member websites to ensure optimal performance and user experience. You’ll work across incident management, change implementation, and stakeholder engagement to deliver reliable and efficient application services. Day to day, you'll: - Support our web applications with end-to-end architecture and be familiar with technologies such as .NET, React, JavaScript, SQL, and related frameworks.
- Perform cloud DevOps tasks, including certificate deployments and updating CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiar with monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, DataDog to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Run SQL queries to investigate and resolve data-related issues.
- Apply ITIL processes, including collating incidents into problem records and raising Change Requests as required.
- Provide application maintenance and support services, including documentation and process adherence.
- Instruct clients and team members on the use of business systems.
- Analyse service availability and contribute to availability management processes.
- Implement and test disaster recovery procedures and document outcomes.
- Manage and resolve incidents, including root cause analysis and escalation as needed.
- Configure software products and test platform-specific versions in various environments.
- Coordinate and execute release management activities including builds, testing, and deployment.
- Additional Technical Responsibilities:
- Participate in an on-call roster to provide after-hours support as needed.

- Demonstrated experience with web development and/or supporting high traffic websites.
- Strong experience with front and back-office transaction processing.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience liaising with vendors for system support and development.
- Knowledge of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (desirable).
- ITIL Foundation certification (desirable).
