As a Senior Software Engineer – React Native, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting high-quality mobile applications that are scalable, secure, and future-proof. You’ll work with cutting-edge tools and technologies to ensure our mobile solutions are first to market and deliver real value to our members. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React Native and Expo.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with ART’s technical strategy.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Implement and maintain DevOps workflows for mobile builds and deployments.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Investigate and resolve incidents and problems, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Manage app store submission and release processes across iOS and Android platforms.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
📍 Location: Brisbane. About you It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: - In-depth expertise and experience developing mobile applications using React Native and Expo.
- Experience writing and reviewing code using TypeScript and other modern JS tools and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of native mobile development (Kotlin/Java for Android and Swift/Objective-C for iOS) is an advantage.
- Proven experience implementing and maintaining DevOps workflows for mobile builds and deployments.
- Experience in app store management processes, including submission and release coordination.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
