About the role

We are focused on helping our members make the most of their money, and as we continue to uplift and scale our automation capability, we are looking for a Business Analyst who can confidently operate at the intersection of business and technology. You will play a key role in delivering automation and technology solutions across RPA and low code platforms, working closely with both stakeholders and delivery teams to drive outcomes from discovery through to implementation and beyond. You’ll also take ownership of initiatives, translate complex business problems into practical solutions, and ensure delivery remains on track in a fast paced, Agile environment.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Lead end to end business analysis activities across automation and technology initiatives
  • Partner with business stakeholders and developers to define solution approaches, including process flows, system interactions and automation logic
  • Elicit, analyse and document detailed business and technical requirements, including process level analysis and as is and to be flows
  • Translate business needs into implementable solutions across RPA and low code platforms such as Power Platform
  • Break down requirements into clear, testable user stories aligned to Agile delivery practices
  • Facilitate workshops across business and technical stakeholders to drive alignment and agree solution direction
  • Own requirements across the full delivery lifecycle, ensuring successful implementation, adoption and benefit realisation
  • Contribute to solution design by developing a strong understanding of systems, integrations and automation capabilities
  • Support testing, business readiness and transition into BAU support
  • Proactively manage priorities, risks and dependencies across multiple concurrent initiatives

 

This role is a permanent opportunity. 

 

📍 Location: Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. 

 

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:  

  • Proven experience delivering business analysis within technology or automation focused initiatives
  • Experience working on or closely with RPA or low code platforms such as Power Platform
  • Strong capability in end to end ownership, from discovery through to implementation and handover
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with technical teams to define solution logic, process flows and system interactions
  • Strong workshop facilitation skills across both business and technical audiences
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, resolve competing priorities and drive alignment in complex environments
  • Experience working in Agile environments, including owning user stories, defining acceptance criteria and contributing to ceremonies
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and maintain delivery momentum
  • Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
