About the role

As a Senior Identity Engineer, you’ll take ownership of enterprise identity services and privileged access management, ensuring secure, scalable and high-performing identity platforms across the organisation.

• Oversee and manage enterprise identity services, including privileged, workforce and customer identity environments
• Lead the deployment, configuration and ongoing maintenance of Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems
• Design and implement secure credential management processes including password vaulting, MFA and session monitoring
• Monitor, manage and optimise identity platforms to ensure availability, performance and security
• Manage identity lifecycle processes including provisioning, de-provisioning, credential rotation and auditing
• Investigate and respond to identity-related security incidents, partnering with incident response teams for mitigation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure identity solutions meet business, regulatory and compliance requirements
• Contribute to platform roadmaps, continuous improvement initiatives, and provide insights on capacity, risk and performance

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:  

• 5+ years’ experience supporting CIAM technologies such as ForgeRock AM and Ping AIC (non-negotiable)
• Hands-on experience with SIEM and observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana or similar frameworks (non-negotiable)
• Strong experience with identity schemas, identity lifecycle management and migration activities (non-negotiable)
• Deep understanding of authentication, authorisation and access control mechanisms aligned to industry standards (non-negotiable)
• Proven experience managing enterprise identity services across PAM, workforce and customer identity platforms
• Experience working with security frameworks and implementing least privilege principles to reduce risk
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Experience working in financial services or another regulated industry is highly regarded
