About the role
Every one of our team contributes to helping make our members’ world better. As a Financial Adviser in our Member team, you will provide high quality, professional superannuation and retirement advice, servicing existing and potential Sunsuper members and assisting the team in meeting Key Performance Indicators. This includes making informed recommendations to meet members’ goals and objectives and documenting those recommendations in a Statement of Advice.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing high quality education and financial planning advice over the phone to key member segments.
Proactively building and maintaining relationships with our key advice segments
Providing member seminars at workplaces and other locations as required
Consistently maintain high level of advice quality outcomes that in the best interests of members, in accordance with both internal policies and procedures and relevant legislation
This role is available as a permanent opportunity.
If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications will include:
Must meet the existing FASEA definition of an existing adviser. (Listed on ASIC’s Financial Adviser Register as ‘current’ prior to 31 December 2018).
RG146 compliance, possessing as a minimum an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) or equivalent.
Whilst transitioning to the new FASEA education requirements must comply with the relevant education and professional standards for financial advisers which include successful completion of the exam by 1 January 2021 and be prepared to meet the new FASEA education requirements by 1 January 2026.
Solid experience in financial services.
Demonstrated experience in financial planning or paraplanning experience
