About the role

To support our success we are currently seeking a Level 1 Service Desk Specialist aka Technical Representative to join the Technology team in our Brisbane office.

 

Working as an integral part of the Service Operations team, you will provide insightful advice and friendly technical support for Technology related matters. You will support Australian Retirement Trust employees, both remotely and in person, with first level Technology inquiries. This will include:

  • Triaging and attending to calls placed through to the Australian Retirement Trust Technology Service Desk.
  • Actioning assigned incidents and requests lodged via our Service Portal, or assisting users, face to face, via our Tech Bar located in our Milton office.
  • Assisting with processing of Systems Access requests, support of Technology projects and rollouts.
  • Supporting of Desktop Software and Hardware including Laptops, Peripherals, Mobile Devices, Printers and AudioVisual Technologies.

 

This role is available as a 12 month max-term/ secondment opportunity.

 

 

About you

If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications will include:

  • Previous experience working in an IT customer service role, within a company or environment of similar size/complexity.
  • Demonstrated experience with using and supporting Windows 10 and associated Desktop Applications/Web Apps (including but not limited to) Microsoft Office, Office 365 Web Portal Services, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Sharepoint, Adobe Acrobat & Creative Cloud, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience with supporting and configuring Mobile Devices (iPhone/iPad/iOS/Android).
  • Demonstrated experience with first line Active Directory support and MACD’s.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting video conferencing and AV functionality.
  • Broad first level technical knowledge within the End User Computing (EUC) domain.
  • Ability to maintain composure and customer focus while troubleshooting and solving technical issues.
